Your day has been long Another Tuesday on the books Light up the bong Put on some song Clean out the little nooks Soon bed is on the hooks Giving dreams some looks As you fall asleep at last A dream isn't what you find A dilemma runs upon you fast A question comes, its spell is cast If you seek an end, its means to you will bind A pact with devil signed With consequences intertwined To your bodily totality Each end will take a piece Its just rationality Seems like practicality That in place of good ole' elbow grease You matter counts decrease With this fate you must make peace Want the world to stop all sin? For abundance to abound? Or do you just want that win? Maybe a posse of strong men? Have your life with friends surround Personal resources compound Know all things true or profound That will cost one total arm The next will take a leg Your finger gone without much harm With one eye you can charm The other leg will need a peg That comes out to one less egg Without lips you cannot beg You wake up fast and drenched in sweat Its all just in your head Blame it on unpaid debt Or expectations you ain't met Something settles like soft lead Times-a-ticking till you're dead Don't spend it all on bread
